Mindful and sustainable

and awarded the Austrian Ecolabel.

Mindful interaction is a given for us. Not only with ourselves, but also with our fellow human beings and nature. We are convinced that the harmony of life is based on internal and external factors, and we consider it an important task to maintain this cycle. How we live, what we eat – everything influences our personal well-being, but also the health of our planet.

For your individual happiness, we at the Stadthotel Brunner rely on the centuries-old teachings of Ayurveda and TCM. They work together wonderfully to bring new lightness and strength to body and mind.

To preserve the wonders of our local nature and its impressive biodiversity, we are consciously committed to sustainability and environmental protection, and have even been recognized for this with the Austrian Ecolabel. This is the highest government award and certifies environmentally conscious tourism businesses that are committed to keeping their impact on the holiday destination as low as possible. Our hotel meets strict requirements in various areas, which are regularly audited by independent bodies.

Our sustainability credo – how we reduce our ecological footprint

• We use electricity, heat, and water efficiently and prefer renewable energy sources. We source electricity from our own hydropower. Heating is provided by geothermal energy.
• We use seasonal food and drinks from the region as well as products from organic farming and controlled origin (AMA-Gastrosigel).
• We separate waste according to precise specifications so that it can be recycled correctly afterwards.
• We take social responsibility for employees, pay attention to their health and a harmonious working environment.
• We involve our team and guests in our environmental commitment and encourage and demand conscious behavior.
• We use detergents and cleaning agents sparingly and only use biodegradable products to reduce water pollution.
• We rely on local producers, craftsmen and regional materials, and value short distances and traceable cycles.
• We always welcome feedback and suggestions

Enjoy carefree – because we know where it comes from

Whether traditional Austrian, Ayurvedic, or alkaline cuisine – all the culinary delights at the Stadthotel Brunner have one thing in common: The ingredients are, wherever possible, regional, of controlled origin, or organically grown. We've known the farmers and suppliers for years and are aware of the unique quality and freshness of their products. Who brings what? We'd be happy to tell you.
