Our hotel is barrier-free and wheelchair accessible

Our entire hotel in the center of Schladming is designed to be barrier-free. The parking lot, entrance, reception, breakfast room, and restaurant are all step-free, and the rooms on the first and second floors, as well as the spa area on the third floor, are accessible by elevator. The spa area includes a Finnish sauna with panoramic views of the Schladming mountains, a relaxation room that also serves as a yoga room, and a sheltered, wheelchair-accessible terrace. The tea house, also on the third floor, is ideal for enjoying the tranquility of the mountains. The second floor houses a massage room where you can recharge your batteries with massages and energy-boosting treatments.

The rooms are equipped with many extras. For example, extra-large beds ensure a restful sleep. Benches in the windows invite you to relax. The biorhythmic lighting concept provides additional relaxation. High-speed Wi-Fi is available free of charge.

Four junior suites are wheelchair accessible, and another 20 rooms are barrier-free. The doors of the wheelchair-accessible junior suites are 90 cm wide, and the bathrooms are 80 to 90 cm wide. The bed height is 52 cm. The bathroom has a 120 x 120 cm headroom, 200 cm to the left of the toilet and 90 cm in front of it, a grab bar to the right of the toilet, and a toilet height of 50 cm. The shower area is wheelchair accessible. The shower seat and grab bars are available. The sink is wheelchair accessible, the mirror is visible for wheelchair users, and the emergency call button is available in the bathroom.

Location: The hotel is located in Schladming's pedestrian zone. The gondola and bus stations, hiking trails, swimming pools, mountain bike trails, and shops are all in the immediate vicinity. The pedestrian zone is easily accessible by wheelchair. Some paths have slight inclines and declines, but are not particularly challenging for wheelchair users. Parking is available directly in front of the hotel entrance.

Schladming is located in the westernmost corner of Styria, bordering Salzburg, at the foot of the Dachstein Glacier and the Planai. The FIS Alpine World Ski Championships were held here in 2013. The mountain town's entire infrastructure is accessible on foot, by bike, or by public transport.

Distances: Pharmacy 50 m, doctor 200 m, outdoor and indoor pools 500 m; train station and hospital 1.5 km; swimming lake 3 km. A nursing service can be arranged upon request.
